Spyridon Belokas was a Greek long-distance runner who represented Athlitikos Omilos Athinon. Belokas ran in the marathon at the 1896 Athína Olympics where he originally finished in third place. He was later disqualified from the race, however, after it transpired that he had taken a carriage for a short part of the race. Hungary’s Gyula Kellner, who had originally finished in fourth place, was upgraded to the bronze medal position. Belokas was chosen for the 1896 marathon after finishing second in a marathon on 10 March 1896, one of the two Greek trial races. Ten years later Belokas competed in the marathon at the 1906 Intercalated Games but he did not finish the race.
