Evangelos Damaskos was a Greek track and field athlete who competed in the pole vault. Damaskos was the first champion at the Panhellenic Games when he cleared 2.90 metres to win the gold medal. Later the same year he competed in the pole vault at the 1896 Athína Olympics. Damaskos tied for third place with compatriot Ioannis Theodoropoulos after both men cleared 2.60 metres but failed when the bar was raised to 2.70 metres.
