Biography

Little is known about the track and field athlete Gurbachan Singh who ran in middle distance races for India during the 1920s. Singh ran in the 5,000 metres at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics where he did not finish in his heat. He was also scheduled to run in the 1,500 metres and 3,000 metres steeplechase in Amsterdam but did not start in either race.
