Biography

Sveinn Ingvarsson was an Icelandic track and field athlete who represented the KR club in Reykjavík. Ingvarsson specialised in sprinting and ran in the 100 metres at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Two years later he set Icelandic records in the 100 metres (10.9), 200 metres (23.1), and the 400 metres (52.6).

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.9 (1938); 200 – 23.1 (1938); 400 – 52.6 (1938).
