Maria Musso was an Italian sprinter, hurdler, and pentathlete. She competed at the 1950 European Championships where she was eliminated in the 80 metre hurdles heats, and helped Italy finish fifth in the 4x100 relay. Musso also competed at the Europeans in 1954, winning a bronze medal in the relay, and 1958, where she again competed in the high hurdles and the 4x100. On the national team from 1949-60, she earned 29 international caps, which included competing at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics.
Domestically, Musso won Italian titles in the 80 metre hurdles (1950, 1957), the long jump (1954), and the pentathlon (1953, 1957, 1959). She set two Italian records in the pentathlon.
Personal Bests: 100 – 12.1 (1955); 80H – 11.5 (1957).
