Tullio Biscuola, born in Verona and raised in Rovigo in the Veneto region and became a specialist in long-distance athletic racing. His only major international competition was the 1924 Paris Olympics, where he was among the six Italians who competed in the marathon. Italy’s Romeo Bertini won an unexpected silver medal, but Biscuola was the only other in the azzurra jersey to finish the race, placing 22nd.
