Mario Brignoli was a walker in the 1930s. Given the presence in Italy of Ettore Rivolta he never managed to win a national championship. Brignoli’s best international result was fourth place in the 50 km at the 1934 European Championships held in Torino, in which Rivolta won bronze. Brignoli earned two international caps from 1934-36.
