Japanese high jumper Kazuo Kimura finished sixth at the 1928 Amsterdam and the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. At the Far East Games he won three silver medals (1927, 1930, 1934), each time losing to Simeon Toribio from the Philippines. Kimura was also a five-time Japanese champion, winning in 1926-29 and 1931.
