Hamadi Haddou was a Moroccan middle-distance and cross-country runner. In 1966 Haddou joined the Royal Army Athletics Club. Two years later, Haddou competed in the 1,500 metres at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics where he reached the semi-finals. Haddou was also scheduled to run in the 5,000 metres at the 1972 München Olympics, but he did not start the race.
Haddou won the bronze medal in the 5,000 metres at the 1971 Mediterranean Games. At the 1975 Mediterranean Games, Haddou improved on his previous success with a silver medal in the same event. From 1967 to 1975, Haddou won four gold medals and a bronze at the Maghreb Championships. During his career Haddou won 15 Moroccan championship titles.
