Sinnayah Sabapathy was a Malaysian sprinter. Sabapathy was part of the Malaysian team that ran in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1972 München Olympics. He also competed at the 1970 Asian Games, and three consecutive editions of the South East Asia Peninsula Games (SEAP). At the SEAP Games Sabapathy won several medals in relay events, with his best individual achievement coming in the 200 metres in 1973, when he won the silver medal.
From 1985 to 2008 Sabapathy coached for several clubs and sports councils. In 2008, when Sabapathy was 61, he graduated from an advanced sports management course with a Diploma in Management of Olympic Sport Organisation.
