Jan Huijgen was a Dutch racewalker who represented Pro Patria in Rotterdam in the early 1900s. Huijgen was friends with Willem Winkelman, with both men training every day and earning good club results and a spot on the Dutch Olympic team. At the 1908 London Games he competed in the 3,500 metres and 10 mile race walk, but did not advance from the heats in either.
