Biography

Steef van Musscher was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented AV Haarlem in the late 1920s and early 1930s. While also a good high jumper and long jumper, van Musscher specialised in the triple jump, often competing against fellow countryman and rival Wim Peters. With Peters dominating the event for the best part of two decades, van Musscher never became a Dutch champion in the discipline. He finished second to Peters at the national championships in 1930 and 1935, in addition to winning bronze in 1933. In 1928 van Musscher competed in the triple jump at the Amsterdam Olympics where he came 15th with a best effort of 13.93 metres in the qualification round.

Personal Best: TJ - 14.13 (1930).
