Nafiu Osagie was a Nigerian track and field athlete who specialised in the high jump. In June 1952 Osagie won bronze in the event at the AAA Championships in London, England. One month later he represented Nigeria at the Helsinki Olympics, where he tied for 18th with the French athlete Claude Bénard. In 1954 Osagie had his best result in an international competition when he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver. After retiring from athletics he founded and ran his own motor company in Benin City.
