Andrzej Stalmach was a long jumper who oddly placed eighth at both the 1964 and 1968 Olympic Games. Stalmach won a bronze medal at the 1967 European Indoor Championships. He was the first Polish jumper to better 8 metres and won Polish titles in 1963-64 and 1966-68. Stalmach set two Polish records in the long jump.
