Romanian track and field athlete Iosif David specialised in the shot put and the discus. David competed in both disciplines at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. His best result came in the shot put with a throw of 12.82 metres to finish in 16th place. In the discus he threw 37.49 metres, finishing in 28th place.
