Biography

South African middle-distance runner Clifford Davis competed in two events at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Davis ran in the 800 metres and the 1,500 metres but was eliminated in the heats in both races. He was also scheduled to run in the 3,000 metres steeplechase but did not start the race. Davis later moved to England where he studied at the University of Cambridge.
