Birgitta Ann-Agnes “Bride” Adams-Ray was a Swedish high jumper who competed for IFK Stockholm. In 1928, Adams-Ray became the national high jump champion and later that year competed at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. Following the Olympics, Adams-Ray won silver in the high jump at the 1929 and 1930 Swedish Championships, followed by a gold in 1931. She also wrote a children’s book based on stories from the Bible.
