Biography

Eva Ernström was a distance runner who ran in college at San Diego State University in the United States. She was fourth at the 1982 NCAA Championships in the 5,000 metres. Ernström ran at three European Championships, in 1982, 1986, and 1990, without distinction. She also ran at the International Cross-Country Championship five times, 1983-87. She was a multiple Swedish champion, winning at 3,000 metres in 1982-83 and 1986, 4K cross-country in 1983-84 and 1986, and at 8K cross-country in 1986.

Personal Best: 3000 – 8:51.91 (1983); 5000 – 15:34.76 (1983); 10,000 – 32:51.59 (1986).
