Biography

Rune Åhlund was a Swedish distance runner who ran in the 5,000 and 10,000 at the 1956 Olympic Games. He was 1956 Swedish champion in the 10K, and won the Swedish U-21 3,000 m title in 1950. Åhlund earned 11 international caps.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 14:20.8 (1956); 10000 – 29:40.2 (1957).
