Nils Fjästad was a Swedish track and field athlete who represented IFK Stockholm. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Fjästad competed in the pentathlon, recording a mark of 6.43 metres in the long jump and a throw of 40.15 metres in the javelin. In the next two events he ran the 200 metres in 23.6 before throwing the discus 30.43 metres. By this point in the competition Fjästad was in 11th place but only the top six athletes progressed to run in the 1,500 metres.
Fjästad had two older brothers who competed at the 1908 London Olympics, with Åke playing in the football tournament and Per swimming in the 200 metres breaststroke. Nils later moved to Kenya working as a plantation owner. He returned to Sweden to live in Lidingö until his death at the age of 74.
