Nils Frykberg was a Swedish middle-distance runner who represented IFK Gävle. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Frykberg ran in the 3,000 metres team event with Sweden winning the silver medal. Although Frykberg’s placings of 11th overall and the fifth-best in Sweden’s team did not count to the overall team score he was still awarded with a medal. He ran in the 1,500 metres but finished in fourth place in his heat and did not advance to the final. Frykberg was also scheduled to run in the 800 and 5,000 metres but he did not start either race. In the 1,500 metres at the Swedish Championships he won bronze in 1911 and silver in 1917.
Personal Bests: 1500 – 4:05.3 (1913); 3000 – unknown.
