Biography

Gösta Grandin was a Swedish track and field athlete who represented Upsala IF where he specialised in racewalking. Grandin competed in the 50 kilometres racewalk at the 1936 Berlin Olympics but ended up being disqualified. During the same year he set a Swedish record in the 20 kilometres event that stood until 1937. In 1940 Grandin was awarded with a badge of honour from the Swedish Walking Association.
