Göran Hultin

Swedish track and field athlete Göran Hultin represented IFK Gävle where he specialised in the hurdles. Hultin won his first medal at the national championships in 1917 with silver in the 110 metres hurdles. Two years later he did the double by winning gold in both the 110 and the 400 metres hurdles. The following year he ran in the 110 metres hurdles at the 1920 Antwerpen Games where he reached the semi-finals.

After his career on the track Hultin moved into sports administration where he served as the chair of IF Thor in Uppsala from 1926 to 1928. This was followed by spells at the Gästrikland Sports Association from 1932 to 1939, and at the Gävletravet Trotting Association from 1935 to 1939. Prior to World War II Hultin was a member of the executive board of the Norwegian Sports Confederation and a member of the board of the Swedish Sports Confederation.
