Biography
Göran Högberg was a Swedish distance runner who ran the 1980 Olympic marathon, although he did not finish. He represented Sweden eight times internationally. Högberg won Swedish titles at 5,000 m in 1973, the marathon in 1987, and cross-country in 1972 and 1973. He also had 15 further podium finishes in various events at Swedish national championships.
Personal Best: 5,000 – 13:49.88 (1988); 10000 – 29:00.6 (1973); Mar – 2-13:59 (1987).
