Sweden’s Brynolf Larsson was a long-distance runner who represented Södermalms IK. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Larsson ran in the cross-country race where he finished in ninth place. The individual placements in the race were used to determine the result in the team event in which Sweden won the gold medal. Unfortunately for Larsson he was the fourth-best Swede with only the top three placings counting, meaning he was not awarded with a medal. Also at the Stockholm Games Larsson ran in the 10,000 metres but was eliminated after finishing in seventh place in his heat.
Personal Best: 10000 – 32:45.2 (1909).
