Biography

Gustaf Nordén was a Swedish triple jumper who represented IFK Norrköping. In September 1908 Nordén set a national record in the event when he jumped 13.72 metres. In 1909 he improved his own record twice, first with a jump of 14.07 metres, and then with 14.12 metres at the Swedish championships where he won the gold medal. Nordén competed at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, jumping 13.81 metres to finish in 10th place. He was also scheduled to compete in the long jump at the Stockholm Games but did not start the event.
