Biography

Swedish track and field athlete Evald Segerström represented Fredrikshofs IF in Stockholm where he competed in racewalking. Segerström was the national champion in the 3 miles walk in 1936 and the 5 miles walk the following year. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics he finished 11th in the 50 kilometres racewalk. Two years later he finished sixth in the same event at the 1938 European Athletics Championships in Paris.

Personal Best: 50kmW – 4-31:12 (1937).
