Biography

Ludvík Bombík was a Czechoslovak long-distance runner who represented Sokol Olomouc. In 1936 Bombík did the double by becoming the national champion in both the 5,000 and 10,000 metres. Later the same year he competed in the 10,000 metres at the Berlin Olympics where he finished 17th. He was also the winner of the Běchovice-Praha 10km road race in 1936 and 1939.
