Czechoslovak track and field athlete Adolf Kittel represented GSV Gablonz where he specialised in middle-distance races. Kittel ran in the 1,500 metres at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics where he finished in eighth place in the final. He also ran in the 800 metres in Amsterdam but was eliminated in the heats.
