Borislav Pisić competed for AC Olimpija, Ljubljana until 1971 and then for AC Crvena Zvezda. He was Yugoslav 110 m hurdle champion in 1972-76, 1978-81, and 1983, and was runner-up in 1977, 1982, and 1984. He also won the national title in the 100 metres in 1972 and 1974-76. Pisić was Mediterranean Games Champion in high hurdles in 1975 and 1979, and Balkan Games Champion in 1975 and 1978-79. He was third at the 1975 Universiade. He competed at the 1980 Olympics, the 1978 European Championships, and the 1978-79 European Indoors. In all, he competed in 47 internationals for Yugoslavia. Pisić set six Yugoslav records in the 110 hurdles (from 1975-79), and two records in the 200 low hurdles in 1973 and 1975. He earned a degree in physical education from Beograd University and served as an athletics official and starter.
