Slovak track and field athlete Mikuláš Kucsera represented Slovan Bratislava where he specialised in the high jump. Kucsera was trained by Jan Hajdócy, who also coached several leading Slovak and Czech athletes during the first half of the 20th century. At the 1924 Paris Olympics Kucsera competed in the high jump but failed to record a height in the qualifying round and was eliminated.
