Biography

Antonios Tsitas competed for the Greek tug-of-war team at the 1906 Athina Olympics. The team represented the Omas Helliniki Peraikos Syndesmos, and won a silver medal. The team defeated Sweden in the first round before losing to Germany in the final match. Tsitas also competed in middleweight wrestling, losing his first round match to Bohemia’s Václav Hradecký.
