Biography

Nada Birko Kustec was a Yugoslav cross-country skier who competed at the 1952 and 1956 Olympic Winter Games. She represented SK Bijele strijele in Mrkopalj and first became known when she won the 1948 Yugoslav Youth Championship over 4 km. She won state titles in 1950 and 1954 in the 10 km and the relay, and eventually won eight Yugoslav titles. She was on the national team from 1950 through her retirement in 1963.
