Biography

Austrian Alpine skier Karin Buder had her greatest moment winning the slalom World Championships in 1993. In 1987 she had finished an unfortunate fourth. She competed at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics and placed fifth in the slalom event. In 1990, Buder won her only World Cup race. In 1983, 1989, and 1992, she won the Austrian national slalom title.
