On the World Cup circuit, de Agostini won eight races, all downhills, from 1976-83. She had 19 World Cup podiums in downhill, and in the 1982/83 season de Agostini won the crystal globe as downhill World Cup Champion, after finishing second in the 1980/81 and 1981/82 seasons. She was named 1983 Swiss Sportswoman of the Year.
