Biography
Liesel Ellend was an Austrian figure skater who placed ninth in the pairs event with Konrad Lienert at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics. The pair also participated in the European Championships from 1955-58 with a fourth place in both 1955 and 1957 as their best results. At the Worlds they came tenth in 1955 and 1958, and eighth in 1956. Ellend and Lienert won national titles in 1957 and 1958 and were second in 1955 and 1956.
