Biography
East German cross-country skier Christa Göhler from Nassau did not finish the 10 km event in her only Olympic appearance at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Games. In 1962 she won the East German national title in the 5 km, with the race held in a heavy rain. Göhler competed for BSG Traktor Nassau.
