Christine Nestler was an East German cross country skier, who represented the mixed German team at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics, and East Germany at the 1968 Grenoble Games. In 1964, she finished fourth in the 3x5 km relay, and was 17th and 13th respectively in the 5 km and 10 km events. In 1968 she finished sixth in the relay and her individual results were 12th and ninth respectively in the 5 km and 10 km events.
Domestically, Nestler was East German champion in the 5 km from 1964-67, and in the 10 km in 1965 and 1966. In 1967 and 1968 she also won the relay titles with SC Oberwiesenthal. Together with her husband Heinz Nestler, they later coached cross country skiers in Oberwiesenthal, including their daughter Ute Nestler and their grandson, the non-Olympian Andy Kühne.
