West German figure skater Petra Ruhrmann was runner-up in the women’s singles at the West German championships in both 1967 and 1968. She finished ninth and 10th at the European Championships in those two years. At the 1968 Grenoble Winter Games she finished 17th. After her career as a competitive skater, Ruhrmann started a new career as a coach and choreographer.
