Biography

Austrian Alpine skier Barbara Sadleder specialized in the speed disciplines downhill and super G. She went on to finish seventh in the downhill and 15th in the super G at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. Sadleder also competed in the 1991 and 1993 World Championships, finishing ninth and 25th in the downhill and 10th in the Super G in 1993. In 1992 and 1993 she won the Austrian super G national title. Sadleder trained as an automotive technician, and with her sister later ran their parents’ car dealership in Weyer.
