Austrian Steffi Schuster was an all-round Alpine skier who participated at the 1994 Lillehammer and 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. In 1994 she came 30th in the downhill event. In 1998 she finished an unfortunate fourth in the Alpine combined, ninth in the super G, and 15th both in the downhill and giant slalom. Schuster had her greatest sporting moment when winning the downhill bronze medal at the 1999 World Championships. Nationally, she won four titles: giant slalom 1996, combined 1998 and 2001, and downhill 2001.
