Biography
Alpine skier Ulrike Stanggassinger represented West Germany at the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. She finished ninth in the Alpine combined event. She had won the combined bronze medal at the 1986 Youth World Championships. In 1992, she won her only national title, at super G. Stanggassinger later worked with an automobile company near München. In 2019, she died after a long illness.
