Biography

Barbara Stöckl was an Austrian cross-country skier who participated in the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. She had little success over 5 km and 10 km and placed 38th and 40th respectively. She won six individual Austrian national titles, over 5 km (1974-75, 1979) and 10 km (1975-76, 1979). Stöckl was member of SK Kirchberg in her competitive days. Together with her husband Franz Wielandner, Stöckl later ran a sports shop and a guest house at Sankt Johann.
