Jirka Arndt was a German long-distance runner who finished eighth over 5,000 metres at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics. That same year he won his only national title, also over 5,000, although he finished second to Dieter Baumann, who later lost his win due to doping violations. In 2002, Arndt added another national title with the marathon team of SC Charlottenburg Berlin.
Arndt won 11 international caps in total. In 2003, he ran his personal best marathon time with 2-16:28 in the Berlin Marathon, when he finished 23rd.
