Biography
Michael Fietz was a German long-distance and marathon runner who finished 37th in the marathon at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics, and in 2001 and 2003 won the German national marathon titles. In 1997, Fletz won the Frankfurt marathon and set a course record (2-10:59). By profession, Fietz became a bank clerk with Nationalbank AG.
