Biography
German race walker Mike, brother of Denis Trautmann, finished 19th in the 50 km event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Like his brother, Mike never won a national title but entered the podium several times as second (in 2001 and 2004 indoor, and in two outdoor events in 2003) and third (in 1998 and 2000 indoor, and 2000-01 and 2004 outdoor). Trautmann trained as an energy electronics technician.
