Ruben Allinger skated for Sweden at the 1924 Chamonix Winter Olympics. He competed internationally for Sweden from 1923-33. Allinger was with Djurgardens IF for most of his career, but in 1931 switched to Tranebergs IF, staying with them through the end of his career in 1950. He was capped 26 times. Allinger worked as a house painter in the 1920s.
