Biography
Turkey made its début at the Winter Olympics at the 1936 Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen sending a delegation of six men. Nazım Aslangil was one of four Alpine skiers to represent the nation in the combined event. Aslangil was the best placed Turkish skier after the downhill element, but failed to finish in the slalom.
