Antonín Bartoň was a Czechoslovak skier. Bartoň competed in cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics. Bartoň’s best results were sixth place in the Nordic combined and 10th place in the 50 kilometres cross-country event. Bartoň won two silver medals at the 1933 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, one in the Nordic combined and the other in the 4 x 10 km cross-country relay.
Bartoň was aiming to compete at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. In 1935, however, Bartoň was involved in a cycling accident where he broke a leg. He was left bed-ridden for several months, with the injury ending his chances to compete at another Olympics. With his sporting career over, Bartoň went to work in the family business with his father, where they manufactured skis. During World War II part of the production helped to serve the Resistance.
