At the 1948 St. Moritz Olympic Bedogni played in goal when both Italian goalies were injured.
Bedogni started his career in 1947 with Diavoli Rosso Neri Milano, captaining them for several years. He played with them until 1954 when he switched to Inter Milan, playing with them through 1960 when he ended his career. In 1962/63 he coached Inter Milan briefly. Bedogni co-founded the HC Como ice hockey club in 1971.
